Gather.Equip.Mobilize.

A few years back, while on staff at a church, the tagline came up “Gather, Equip, Mobilize.” I really liked it and felt it encompass what I am all about. I really want the website to emulate that as well. So I am trying out a new theme. It is a classic “magazine” theme allowing the reader to take a quick glance at the page and clicking on something that interests them rather than trying to navigate through the back pages hoping to find what they are looking for.

One section I am really excited about is the “Worth a Read” section. Whether it is something from a major media outlet that is noteworthy, or a guest blogger who has something I feel other readers need to know about, this is the place for it. If you want to submit something feel free! I’ll try to update it often (daily?). Of course I’ll still have the thoughts of music, religion and reviews of products, as well as the ever popular Tuesdays with the Kirkpatricks.

Let me know what you think. Is the layout too busy? Is it easier to navigate? Colors?
