I woke up feeling great today. This was surprising, as last night I felt I was up against a wall. I guess it’s what they call a breakthrough. I honestly feel like I could keep going for awhile, but that will be increasingly difficult, mainly for social reasons. Katie and I will be moving back to Louisiana in 7 days (more on that later), so this last week will probably be filled with meals w/friends and family. Again, the whole goal is health (not weight loss, counting calories or fat grams). So I’m going to work my way back into whole foods and then cooked foods and grains (maybe even dairy??). I juiced for breakfast and lunch, and ate whole pieces of cantaloupe for dinner. (BTW cantelope, blueberries, spinach and carrots are just about the most perfect foods you can eat; try to snack on them instead of chips or chocolate…well maybe not the spinach).
Anyway, thanks for going on the journey with us! We hope you were inspired or at least had a good laugh.
