CNN just put out a quick article about “Christianese.” While I felt the author was a bit skewed and biased, I do think it is worth reading. Often times Christians forget how to talk to people who are not Christians, or who have no point of reference to so many things ‘church.’ Take a moment, it’s worth a read, specifically about not being called a Christian anymore.

“Fewer believers are referring to themselves these days as ‘Christian,’ ” Crosby says. “More are using terms such as ‘Christ follower.’ This is due to the fact that the more generic term, Christian, has come to be used within religious and even political ways to refer to a voting bloc.”
